Our Story
Founded in 2010 in Tala, Raigad District, Maharashtra, Janseva Society began with a simple yet powerful mission: to uplift the Katkari tribal community through education, healthcare, and economic empowerment.
Located in the heart of Raigad District, approximately 150 km from Mumbai and 120 km from Pune, we have been working tirelessly to create sustainable change in rural communities.
What started as a small initiative has grown into a comprehensive development program reaching over 45 villages and impacting thousands of lives across Maharashtra.

Foundation
Janseva Society was founded in Tala, Raigad District, with a vision to uplift the Katkari tribal community.
First Learning Center
Opened our first learning center, providing education to 50 Katkari children.
Women Empowerment Program
Launched women empowerment and skill development initiatives, training 200+ women.
Healthcare Services
Started mobile health clinics reaching 25 villages in Raigad and Thane districts.
Livelihood Support
Introduced sustainable farming techniques and alternative livelihood programs.
COVID-19 Relief
Provided emergency relief to 2000+ families during the pandemic.
Expansion
Expanded operations to 45 villages across Maharashtra.
Digital Literacy
Launched digital literacy programs and e-learning centers for youth.
